Megan's Nightmare is inspired by the German Expressionist Movement in the 20th Century as well as the work of August Strindberg, Alfred Jarry, and Eugene O'Neil. Expressionism is a style of art that seeks to physicalize an emotional experience from within, rather than maintain a Naturalistic setting.
